Hey guys I'm planning a trip out to ND this season (just me and dog coming from NC) and my cousin did basically the same trip ten years ago, so I've been talking to him a lot about what worked for him and how he scouted and got permission to hunt potentially good spots. It sounds like he had success, but I've heard a little about how things have changed over the years and I'm wondering if you guys could enlighten me as to what techniques as far as scouting and talking to landowners would probably need to be adapted for 2012. Thanks for any help guys!

Take all the DU stuff off of your truck and gear. This will help. Nothing agaist DU, I am a committee member myself. PM me and I will explain.

I've had farmers comment to me when I've had DU stuff on in the past....long stories.
Not much has changed, maybe a bit more posting. Just scout a lot and you'll be fine.
