Hello, Planning a trip to ND in October or November of this year and wanted to see if anybody can suggest great guides there, preferably guides they have experience with. Flying in from North Carolina with a group of 6 to 8. Want to hunt about 5 days. None of us have hunted in ND. We're not concerned with great accomodations. Rather, we're looking for the best duck and goose hunting and a guide that's going to work hard for us. Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions.

Have hunted with these guys since 2004. Solid hunters in a not at all commercial environment. Comfortable lodge, good food and real motivated people interested in showing you an amazing ND experience. Upland bird hunting is a bonus and alot of fun when the birds are doing there thing. If you are a deer hunter you will be amazed at the whitetails you get to see.
Go in October. November is risky for freeze up and when it freezes in ND it really freezes.
Help keep N.D. guide free. Go on your own, it's easily doable and even the posted land is usually huntable when you ask the land owner. Been there many times and never once with a guide.....
Glad you are gona give it a whirl on your own. Let us know how it went. Littellocal update: So far so good. Been excellent hunting all around..other than too damn hot for early goose.
