Pekin Area

Postby WildDuckman » Wed Oct 30, 2013 1:50 pm

A friend of mine has a friend who's family lives in the Pekin area. He told my buddy that this was a good area for waterfowling. Don't need any honey holes just wondering if there is a lot of water in this area and any lakes with any size to shoot divers on without taking a boat. Is this area pretty rural like most of the state??

There is this site called google.com. Type in pekin nd and then click on the map for aerial photos/maps. You can answer two of your questions with that.

As for divers, if there is a lot of water there will be divers at the right time of year. You won't know if you need a boat until you find out how deep it is. Water levels change every year. You could always play it safe and throw a canoe on the roof of your vehicle.

Good luck!
