Wetlands Looking Rough

We're getting some rain finally buts it's pretty late. Sloughs are still dry as a bone as it's all soaking in.

CRP is dropping like flies too....not good for the PPR.

Hear ya Chris. We have a little more water in the southern part of the state than in the central but not by a whole lot. We are also starting to get some rain but it may be to little to late. The dry spring conditions have left a lot of nesting ducks high and dry. Take that with the fact that skunk and raccoon populations are soaring and we are losing crp as you mentioned, well, things could get pretty grim. :no:

Okay so it's still raining. :yes: But just in time to kill all the upland. :huh:
