Hey,
I am going out to the southern part of ND over MEA weekend in OCT for 4 days, how many boxes of shells should i bring? also do i need any decoys? or is it all jump shooting, please let me know

How good of a shot are you? My theory is always have enough with.

Decoys-definately along with a pair of waders and a dog too if you have one. Decoying birds is preferred method VS jumpshooting. :thumbsup:

Field hunting can be a blast, some goose decoys along with some Mallards and you have a great combo hunt and stay dry too. This is very effective the 1st 3 hrs of the morning. :smile:

Do some scouting early as the south centeral part of the state is posted up fairly tight ,moreso now than in he past 15 yrs. Ive hunted up there.Usually the landowners will let you on if it is not leased up by outfitters,the hard part is contacting the landowner.
