Hear the report include bears, lions and wolves too.

ZANESVILLE - The owner of property where he operated an animal rescue was found dead Tuesday evening; while The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office deputies and personnel from The Wilds and Columbus are trying to find the animals from the site.

Sheriff Matt Lutz said the owner, Terry Thompson, was found dead outside and the animals were free when they arrived. They began receiving reports of animals around the area about 5:30 p.m.

No details on the Thompson's death have been released yet.

Lutz described the animals as "mature, very large and aggressive."

Lutz said after dealing with Thompson for several years and the rescue he operated on his farm, the sheriff's office was aware he kept animals such as camels, cheetahs and tigers.
