Hunting in Central Ohio

Postby sussexr » Fri Aug 11, 2006 5:34 am

I have moved to Mass, but will be moving back within the next year or two and was wondering how the hunting is in Central Ohio. One of the important issues about where I will be settling in.

i am not sure about the duck hunting but the deer population is great in the central part of the state. as far as duck, i would recommend up near ottawa county and surrounding.

Rob,

I'm in Central Ohio and the hunting is thin. You're gonna have a lot of time, scouting and permission asking in it. It's do-able you just have to be creative.

It's impossible to get up to Ottawa and the great lakes much unless you spend time checking it out and then do overnighters for hunting - it's a decent drive to be hittibg a spot before shooting light.
No such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people
