Toledo is just a little west of Ottawa, there are a few public marshes you can get yourself into if you head east out of Toledo, lots of fields around, most are spoken for, and then there is always the big pond.I believe the ODNR site has a list of all the public marshes, but be warned the 2 nearest to Toledo are by far the most "popular" ones around

Try looking in the hunting regulations booklet. My property is surrounded by the wildlife refuge. The Mallard Club is a nice spot to hunt near Maumee Bay State Park, I hunt there alot in afternoons for ducks. Stopping around farmers that live along State Route 2 in Ottawa County is also a good place to get fields right across the Road form the Refuge. Tousaint public marsh is another place for ducks later in the season for ducks and geese. Good luck in your sereach!!!!!!
