Scouting

Postby OHIODUCKA5 » Fri Aug 02, 2013 6:44 am

So I was driving around last night down thru the swamps just checking out things , and saw NOTHING. They were there a couple of weeks ago. Hell even the park geese are gone Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Anyone else notice this or do I need to change my meds again
I hope someday someone remembers this old dog with kindness and gives me to a puppy.

I have seen geese in good numbers and nice sized groups but far less ducks than what I saw on a daily basis than a month ago. Some mallards and a few woodies.

No I have not, but am going down to work the dog this evening. I will take a look around. Sitting in the game reserve? Or where you seeing them?

I am from Indiana and had some guys take me out on Indian Lake. Do you guys usually draw for blinds on this lake or do you guys have a boat you hunt out of Layout/ John Boat?

Don't worry I think there is far better hunting where I'm at anyway!

You don't need to worry about me coming down there to try and get one of your blinds I was just wondering if you guys did any layout hunting or from a boat or just blinds because the fellas I know stick to their blind pretty much all season and I couldn't stand being non-versatile hunter.
