First I've seen or killed. I've seen some snows in our area but never speckles

I have never heard or seen any specks in ohio either. Congrats!! :thumbsup:

thanks. If you look close you'll see my trigger assembly on my 870 is destroyed. I had a shell detonate basically. The brass grenaded off the haul and flew out of my receiver. my buddy beside me received shrapnel to the forehead. Thankfully hes ok and laughed about it. I believe it was due to aging ammuniton. I had some old kents I was trying to use up and 2 of them did this to me. The 1st one was less severe it jus blew a fire ballouta my receiver. Neddless to say I disposed of those shells. I put my gun back together and purchased new ammo. I test fired the gun and have ran several new shells thru it with no problems. Moral of the story is just dispose of aging ammo.

I shot a nice speck in southern Ohio in January. First one I'd ever seen
