Just wondering when we will start seeing more birds flying? I'm new to duck hunting and I was just wondering when things start to get real exciting. I find myself taking longer drives and looking in every pond or watering hole i see........lol.
Also, just trying to get some good conversation started. If I'm asking a dumb question please tell me so.

Still a bit warm to see a lot of birds.
Seems like you've got the bug though, it starts when you start staring at the sky all the time.

like jsa said, numbers should pick up a little once the cold has been here for awhile.
It's all true, as far as I know.

There are birds moving in front of or behind the weather fronts that come from the north or northwest this time of year. Last weekend the the birds arrived on GLSM late Sunday morning.

I sure hope the skies get exciting soon!
This is about the slowest year I can remember for wetlands and potholes. Dry...dry...dry!
