You said you'd be home on the 10th, it's the 12th already!!

I wanna see pics of your birds! Surely you've been out by now...

Hey everybody,

Yeah I been out but hit some bad luck.

went out friday morning and found out my waders leak, drove off and forgot my blind bag in the parking lot afterward. by the time i realized what i had done and went back, someone had walked off with it. i lost about 300 dollars worth of gear (including the price of the bag) including calls, shells, maps, lights, chokes. still havent recovered.

gonna go out tomorrow. I will report back with how we do. its been a bad season, we lost a couple of our private land spots so we have been forced to play the public land game and are having no luck at all.

good luck to you all.

I know, tell me about it. I still cannot believe that I drove off and left that bag there.

my brother got home from school today, so now we have his calls to work with, and our hunting buddy will be back from school on thursday and he has calls too.

I guess its time to buy some new gear

I saw where you picked up the three geese, but have you been able to get out yet for the second half?

I've only been out once. No luck.

My fiancee is a nursing student at Sinclair, she's in her last 2 quarters of clinicals so she can't work. Since she's on break now, she picks up every shift she can to make some extra scratch. Life is hell with a mortgage, 2 boys and only one income!

I have Friday off and she's not working. Wanna meet up for a hunt? I have some deeks, calls and a canoe... that's about it. I do have a blind on CJ Brown.

Man i would love to meet up for a hunt, just cant this friday. I got family coming in for the weekend and I got to play the role of entertainer. Sounds like you have a pretty hectic life right now, but if you get another free day later on, holler at me!
