I have a two year old full blooded chocolate lab female that needs a good home. She was given to me by the owner for hunting purposes, because the mother's mother was a trial champion, but my pups mother was bred by a fence jumping pure bred yellow lab from down the street before she was spayed. I don't have papers, but I do have vetranary records. I spent several months training her (from months 3 - 9) to sit(and stay), come, and retreive based on verbal commands as well as a whistle. She was also trained to mark and retreive doubles on land and water. She has not been gun broken and has never had a gun fired arround her, although she has been arround guns being cleaned and she has a tendancy to shy away from them for some reason. She has been introduced to dead ducks durring cleaning, and has retreived bumpers with spare wings attached. She has no issues with bite pressure and has a very soft but secure mouth.
My living and work situations have evolved over the last year witch has resulted in me being unable to provide an active life style and training oportunities for such a great dog, so I am looking for someone who has the time, resources, and desire to adopt her and give her the life that she deserves to have.
If you are interested please send me a PM, and I will gladly respond to any questions and provide pictures.
