Snows on public land

Postby italian_stallion » Sun Feb 10, 2013 7:31 pm

Have any of y'all seen any snows on public land? Trying to figure out if I should pursue the Colgs hunt or pack my chit for the season.

Molto poco

I second the missouri, I've never heard nor seen any public land snows.... Unless they are far east..

There's been a flock by my house.... But not any frequency to them... Might be there 3-4 days straight, then disappear for a week.... On public.. near Muskogee area

If I was a betting man I'd say Sequoyah National. Good luck if you step on that hell hole

Nope... Not NWR.... It's a small refugee that's closed throughout duck season. Only open for hunting during early teal and after Feb 15 (I believe is the date, could be Feb 1).

I saw about 200 snows and at least 1000 Canadas on winter wheat fields off I-44 SW of Vinita this weekend.

I was on SH 1and saw a couple of hundred on the McAlester prison land but it might be worse than Sequoyah to get into.

missiouri is primetime, the pack it up line was good advice, I struggled for years until I started traveling more.
