I guess the biggest question for Hevi-Shot other than why don't they warn us on the box of this, but is this a plamt seed of an invasive species?

The significant linseed producing countries are Canada (~34%) and China (~25.5%), though there is also production in India (~9%), USA (~8%), Ethiopia (~3.5%) and throughout Europe. Almost all of the United States crop is from the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana.[23]

Not native to the US, but apparently we are the 4th largest producer.
Not sure how they break dormancy but from the pictures on wikipedia I would guess that simply adding moisture would do it.
