are boats able to cut through the timber in the middle of the lake??

Their is an old lake road that cuts through the middle of that timber that we used last year when we would put in on the west side of the lake.
Do you know if a person would be able to walk their boat across or could drive through it????

Well, I went a few weeks ago and saw the boat path, I wouldn't try to go through it without a depth finder. I didn't go through the boat path, turned left right before it and manuvered around some timber, then went up whatever creek comes into the lake, didn't see any ducks though...

Badland,
You will be allright if you stay in the river channel..........the west side of the lake......Osage plains, right? But as soon as you cut outta the timber, you will be in very very shallow water. The lake is 2 feet low and the flatts are about a foot deep, if that.
I live in bartlesville and hunt Copan in a boat. None of the vegetation is flooded, not even close......not in the west flats or not on the east side (Cotton Creek.)

We have been hunting Kaw lake and doing quit well.

:salude: :salude:
