fort cobb duck and geese numbers

iam thinking about going to cobb for the zone 2 closer. has anyone been hunting down there. what are the numbers looking like. I have heard mixed opinions.

I haven't been out there but I heard the water level was way down. That might make crowding an even bigger issue. As for the numbers, I hunt about 20 miles due North of there on a regular basis and have four years of statistical data to go by. We have shot less than 1/3 of what we have been used to. I guess you might as well go, but I wouldn't expect clouds and clouds of birds with no competition. This late in the season, the birds have figured out that nobody shoots them if they hang out on the South end.

Maybe you should just get out and scout for your hunts instead of getting on here and asking others to do the work for you. You will just be one more person at an over crowded public lake.
