Has anyone seen large amounts of teal move into Oklahoma yet? Season starts Saturday.

Never have seen large amounts, but found a spot that LOOKS like it will have teal, but I haven't seen any yet. If conditions are bad for fishing this weekend I might try for teal. :hammer:

I have seen a few here and there, nothing real impressive. I also found a place that looks like it will hold some birds near waggoner.

Were was it you saw groups of a couple hundred?

Hopefully after this weekend i will be able to tell where a bunch of em are!!!

Was this at Copan lake? Seems like the only place 200 would have enough room up where you are.

I've never in my life seen hundreds of teal.... I saw several groups of 10-15..... That small cold front today, and the one Friday should push them in though. There should beplenty to shoot at come Saturday.

I have seen thousands of teal migrat in last year up near kingfisher. They filled the sky and constantly swirled around, it was awesome.

I have really seen alot of teal the past two days now, around my place I saw numerous flocks of 5-10, and quiet a few of 20-30. It should be a good opener.

Yeah, I just hope this second front doesn't move them out. Went scouting early this am and saw birds but not as many as literally the day before.

I saw a lot at the wma as well but I am afraid it will be shoulder to shoulder hunting there.

they were in Missourii and kansas in front of the last cold front we got and from what ive seen over the last week, they are definitley here now. I dont think this front is gonna push em down yet. It sure will be nice to have an opener where its not 95 degrees - thats for sure!

Has anybody ever had much luck hunting teal on a river?

How did everyone do this morning?

I saw tons of teal last tuesday, but went out this morning and saw maybe 20 and none of them wanted to be where I was.

Hope yall did better than I did!

Has anyone seen teal at the west end of Skiatook? I was there a couple weeks ago and the habitat was good but no teal. I may go to Copan this afternoon, or Skiatook, but am not going to Skiatook if there's nothing there.

We got our limits within 10 minutes Saturday.

Only shot 3 total Sunday. the birds seemed to have moved out, as I didn't see any yesterday.
