Millet question

Postby kkelly » Thu Jul 10, 2014 1:42 pm

Hey guys

I'm looking to do my first planting of Millet this year. I'll be planting browntop (I think) for dove here this week and then again for duck in mid August. When do you guys plant for duck?

I will be hand broadcasting it around a river and a few ponds and I don't have any equipment to harvest. How and when should I harvest the millet for best results? Or should I just let it stand for both dove and duck? Any suggests would be great!!

For duck plant by mid August at the latest. Never done a Harvest. Be careful there. A normal crop harvested is legal to duck hunt over. A NOT normal harvest would be considered Baiting.
