I found a sunflower field, found out who owns it, tried to find a phone number but couldn't, so I drove by the business address for the company that owns it, and they have been out of business for 2 years... So I don't know who I need to try to contact. We will see how that goes

There's a good one in southern creek county, and soon to be one near Inola.

I baled my 30 acre bean/millet field last week, there's about 150 birds feeding in it as of this evening. Also burned the wheat stubble in my cattle partner's field last night. There had been 40-50 birds using it, but after the burn there should be quite a few in it as well.

A guide service tried to lease it for an opener hunt, my partner said,"hell no." :lol3:

We're laying the storm sewer for Phase 2 of the Lake Valley subdivision in Owasso, there's 70-80 birds feeding in the goat weed and Johnson grass.

Seems like we have a good number of birds around, should see an influx with cooler weather this weekend.

I haven't done much looking lately, but from other people I've heard the numbers in my local area have declined recently...which doesn't make any sense because the weather is warmer and drier.

According to one of my ravens, lots of birds on a field I'll be hunting in the Collinsville area. Had a decent hunt there 2 years ago with low numbers of birds, we'll see how it turns out this year.
