Been out doing some scouting and have only seen a few birds. I live in the eastern part of the state and just wanted to see if anyone else has had better scouting results.

I havents been lookin to close but other than the 40+ ducklings runnin around our neighborhood I havent seen a single one.
Box of 12 ga. lead quail loads. --- $5.50
4 Candy bars --- $3.15
15 gallons of gasoline --- $34.00 (ouch)
Taking a three day weekend to quail hunt with your dad and your dog.... Priceless

My dad has been scouting near Heavner, OK, and has seen some. I think he and a buddy saw 6 at one time on a pond. They weren't close enough to ID them, but I'm sure they were teal.
Where in Eastern OK are you?
Have you looked into resident Candada goose season? It's going on at the same time. What about Lake Wister?
