Have been watching two huge tornadoes of mallards and pintails over two cut milo fields every morning and evening. Not a single bird using those fields during season lol.

Same here... My slough behind the house.. now that it has water... has 100 or so teal, 40 woodies, 50 ish mallards and gads... loving hearing them every evening as slough is 300 yds from backdoor..

Wonder if they're just coming back through from wintering south (where there was water) of us?

Yes they're still here. Seen over 100 or so bluebills while fishing.
