Klamath Area Over Thanksgiving

Postby Feather Buster OSU » Mon Nov 28, 2005 11:11 pm

Hey went out to k-falls over thanksgiving break. Got down to the marsh on the north side of agency lake on friday night and I have never seen so many birds in such a small area! Dad and I shot 3 birds in ten minutes. A few other guys shot 3 limits of teal that afternoon. It snowed hard friday night and we had high hopes for the morning  . Got out there the next morning and the entire wetland had completely froze over  :pissed: :pissed: !!!!! Lots of birds before shooting hours because they were heading to the big water. Nothing was flying and we were freezing our butts off! Got one mallard drake and a frozen butt!
