Sauvie's Island Hunting

Postby Honker2 » Thu Dec 01, 2005 9:54 pm

My brother-in-law and I have been hunting the east side at Sauvie's Island for the past four weeks and have shot our limits all four trips.
We thought maybe we would try the west side, has anyone been over there and had a good hunt? :salude:

Honker - i normally only hunt the westside. that said..i haven't been there this season yet. though the people i have talked to recently have told me that they have had some decent hunting as of late.

problem with the west side is that there are relatively few good blinds for the number of people that go there. you've got maybe 6 good spots out of the 30 or so blinds you can hunt from.

get a good chip and you're in.
