Geez Tealer, looks like you and BBD(and crew) did pretty good at that secret diver spot. Are those pics all from before the truck fire?
Tell the little woman congrats on here first buck. That's awesome!
I'll have to look through the pics from this season and see if any are worth posting.

I got some time to sit down and post em' here is the season in a nut shell. Had a lot of good times this season with friends and family got 2 new kids hook on this sport. Time to polish the calls put them on the display shelf and dream about next season. I feel like the kid at summer camp.... sad that its over and I don't want to go home. The boss at work and the wife will both be glad they might get some work out of me now....

Good pics!

No I order them through atclanyards.com Rob over there makes the most comfortable lanyard I've ever used. Game straps, lanyards, dog collar/leashes. What ever you want. I helped him design a new lanyard. The big fat round braid dosent fit duck bands to well so I had him put the smaller braid on the inside for the duck bands as seen in the pictures. Brain storming I came up with a different idea of wrapping the smaller braid around the fat round. Came out awsome. Check out his web site. Tell him juwehoyt sent you and he might (I'm not promising anything) but he might give you a discount. He lives in IL but he will have the lanyard to ya in 3-4 days tons of colors too....

I just got the green one today and got the bands swapped over.

Quick hunt after classes....

Another memorable hunt..... All the chukar and huns were shot over duck decoys. Weirdest thing ever. They sink like a rock in the water, the dogs were wondering what the heck was wrong with them.

Hunted over 9 DSD Honkers this afternoon and we killed 2 limits pretty easily. As we were packing our blinds and birds out of the field a single landed in the deeks. As we walked back into the decoys the goose would not fly off, it just hung close to the nearest decoy. We were 20 yards away picking up the other deeks and it still didn't fly until we chased him off! Pretty amazing and a testimony to some incredible decoys!

Sweet hunt! Who forked out the dough for the DSD's. Man them things are spendy. Sounds like they are worth it though. 1 day left.

Not Me!!! Yeah, watching very weary late season birds dump in like it was opening week was quite impressive! If I have ever have $375 for 4 decoys I will buy some DSD's!

Andrew,

I love how you like using those full body mallards to compliment the floaters! I use mine alot too, I think they complete a deke spread...especially late season when the ice hits. They sure make a small spread come together! I think the ducks like them too.
