Postby Swamp Puppy » Sun Mar 05, 2006 3:40 pm

You are officially invited to the first Oregon Waterfowl Festival Meeting for the 2006 Event. We will be meeting at the Buffalo Gap in Johns Landing (6835 SW Macadam Ave in Portland 97219 ......503-244-7111)at 6:30pm on Thursday March 9th. We are always in need of more volunteers, so any time and help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

If you can make it..it's a good time. Volunteers are always needed and you can volunteer for as little or as much time as you like.

Just checked in after a long break. What's the OR Waterfowl Festival all about?

basically, it's just what it sounds like. they also have the State Duck/Goose Calling championships as well as various other calling contests (open and 2 man). usually they have lots of seminars and vendors come out with their wares. more than a couple of call makers, some boat dealers, and the local shops.

it's a good time..and they always have some stuff for the kids to do.
