First hunt of the season. Surf scoter limits all around, from layout.

slow day with the Pac Flyway rambler.

Have no idea about this pic, just a random single BB.

My younger dog waiting for action to begin on a BB hunt.

Diver layout hunt with the rambler again.

Solo diver hunt with the yoiung dog.

Took my friends daughter out and she was able to connect with her first duck ever. She ended up with 3 before she had to leave that morning. My old dog Kodi retrieved her first duck. Oh, and she shot her birds with a singleshot .410.

I had 2 rambler decoys for one hunt.

Me and my boy kody with our 7 drake BB limit.

A 2 man limit in the last week of season.

Image

A mergy I couldn't let pass.

Image

My friends trophy pintail from the last week, also while diver hunting.

Image

A cripple drake sawbill that we had been seeing the last week. I decided to put him out of his misery, Quickly.

Image

Another highlight of my season was a Christmas eve hunt in SoCal for divers. These guys devoted their hunt to me getting my first redhead and I ended up with 2 nice specimen. I owe them a big thanks for sure.

I only made 21 hunts this season, according to my logs. I also didn't take many pictures, due to only having my cell.

That is definately the darkest speck I have ever seen hands down awesome job. I've heard that as they mature their breasts darken & if that's the case I wonder how old that badboy is?
