Thats awesome Nate! Congrats... where was it banded? The only pintail I've shot that was banded was from Alaska...Let us know if you don't mind...again congrats...
There are 2 types of public land hunters...
1. Those who hear the shots and hunt there next time...
2. And those who are the shots...

NOW GET OUT AND DO YOUR OWN SCOUTING!!!

The bird was hatched in 2006, banded in March of 2007 at Tule Lake, California. Definitely will be a memorable hunt. The pin in it was the longest I've seen

Around here we kill so many Pintail, I'm actually surprised this is my first off a pinnie. I got. GoPro today as a gift, so hopefully I can edit something together by the end of the season showing just how many nice bull sprigs we get!

Banded pintails are hard to come by. We have shot 50 or 60 pintails this year, still bandless. We get to shoot our pintails everyday.

Hey Webfootslayer, are you gonna have to wait until DSD starts making geese again in June?

Santa brought me some 2003 hardcore honkers and a stellar Bluebill hunt.

I hope not but if I do I'm maybe even gonna get more by the time june rolls around. I may even just get Dakota's since I haven't been able to get any1 to answer the phone @ DSD in 2 weeks. I don't believe in leaving messages for business's since they should b there working.you'd think w such a large following they would b bustin their butts in production but instead I think they're out in the field.

Yep, it's the flyway limit for redheads.
I shot a few other birds but those were the stars of the day.
