Yea really... There have been 5 of these hanging in a mile area all season in a flock of about 15 birds. I thought the one on the right was one of 2 drakes I've glassed. All my buddies say mount it, not sure yet.

I would have the pair mounted. I never see domestics on the wall. Aka morage/park ducks!
Cut Um!
Real ducks don't have a competition sequence they follow! Hint, hint!

Thanks dude, you nailed it!!! I bet 500 people have thrown out guesses on these ducks.
I'm gonna try to kill the other 3 before the season ends. I found one flock y'day with another hen, I need to find the 2 drakes. They are obviously breeding with the mallards as you can see in the one on the rights plummage. Thanks again.

no problem haha, only know that cause i hatched and sold a few dozen runners in high school with our FFA program. a good way to check the ID is to see how they walk (or hold them upright after you shoot one). if they stand extremely upright, then it is definitely a runner. pretty funny ducks to watch move around!

So... You shoot park ducks and now you plan to mount them? I hope this is a joke. Jeff

PS.. Try a brown paper bag. Just stand up and toss bread out of the bag. That should bring them right in if they get call shy.
Duck hunters chat.. a place where people who never shoot past 40 yards explain how to do it better to the guys who do it all the time.

You don't read well, my friends want me to mount the one. Plus, it's only 1/2 park duck, the other 1/2 is 100% wild, lol
Oh, it's against the law for me to use bait.

Walk the same as the mallards, noticed that when glassing the field one day. Guess the mallard walk is in them.
