i just moved to oregon for work and im lovin it here. im looking
for some areas to hunt. dont know the lay of the land very well
and was wondering where some decent public areas might be. rivers,refuges, wildlife areas, resevoirs, where ever it doesnt matter. just trying to find any kind of info i can. . just trying to learn the oregon duck game. can anyone help

If you are in the Portland area Sauvie Island is about as good of hunting as you can find. it's a bit of a zoo being so close to the city, but they kill a ton of birds out there. go see Ron or Rob at the ODFW office on the island and tell them Ed sent you out there.
