I hear ya----looks like a good time with your huntin partner. I had a morning like that the other day---19 degrees & 4 swans cruising over my blind----nice.

Central Oregon is pretty well frozen solid but for the guys who put in time and break ice and clean out the holes hunting is the best its been all season...Field hunting has really picked up on the greenheads as well on days when we dont fell like breaking through 4" + of ice.

Yup-------I gambled Wed. & chopped through 2" of ice to make a honey hole for the new mallards pourin in-------
they went to a field I couldn't get to instead, but scraped up 4 birds anyway------good hunt. That artic front really drove down the green heads.
