Meat processing

Postby jandh77 » Sat Dec 21, 2013 12:57 am

Hey all, I'm looking to have some duck and deer meat turned into pepperoni sticks or some other type of sausage. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on where to take it, preferably in the Eugene area or Corvallisarea, or somewhere in between, but I'm open to going somewhere else too, if it's worth it. Also, what types of sausage/meat sticks do you recommend and do you have an estimate on price/lb and turn around time? Thanks for any suggestions.

Call S & S slaughter on scravell hill (Albany) and ask Wes if they do sausage. I have them do beef, pork and venison and they are excellent to deal with. Here is the number...... S & S Custom Slaughtering & Cutting (541) 327-2669

I use Vogetts in Hubbard between Salem and Woodburn on HWY 99. Excellent product.
