Duck Hunting in Fields

Postby Woodywoodduck2 » Mon Dec 05, 2005 9:08 pm

Never really set up in a Field for just Ducks. We shot some, when we have set up for Geese and Ducks are in Season.

We have a Farm, that has a pond on it that we hunt and Trap.

To many Houses near the Pond to hunt it. Not out of the 150 yards from them!

Out in the field, we can hunt. these Ducks fly over this field Every Morning and Every Evening!

The Grass is about 5 inchs high in the field.

The Farmer is going to be having Cow Manure dumped in piles in the field here soon!

I was thinking, with the snow we got and are suppose to get, plus with the Manure Dumpoing, We might be able to Drop Ducks into a Spread out in the Middle of a Field.

Anyone have any Suggestions on what to do and how to make it work for Strictly Duck hunting in a Field??

Wind duck/ducks.

They're deadly on field hunting ducks but they flare the geese though.
