To me this is the worst time of year. What are your thoughts and how do you relieve cabin fever? :help:

Start getting ready for next year, its not that far away. I personally touch up decoys and fix broken rigs. I even make some silos for myself. Practice your calling and possibly even compete in comp or two. I like to repaint my boat as well. Other than that I make it to work alot more often and try to go to as many Yankee games as possible.

Come on trout season and spring gobbler season!!!! I like chasing spring gobblers "almost" as much as waterfowling. I just like being up at camp and out in the woods that time of year.

Suskie, Some of my friends and I went out with Phanatic once this year as well. we had a good time with him. The part about bad aim was more of a knock on myself. I missed a drink bottle thrown in the air about 5 times, then got frustrated and shot it from about 5yds setting on the ground.

Not too many birds coming our way that day.

I was just being a smart ass.

I became a DU member this year for the reading. Well i got my first magazine and i thought that it would help me in the off season. I opened it up and after reading a few pages i just wanted to go hunting. So much for trying to help me out of the off season blues.
