The home stretch

Postby Coleman24 » Mon Jan 14, 2013 9:37 am

Well with today and tomorrow the last days of the season hope everyone is trying to make the best of it, even with horrible weather conditions.

We went out a couple times since Christmas, got out to New Jersey for 2 days before having to get to school. Went down with barryboy08 and my buddy to hunt with jerseydutch and his girlfriend. It was a blast ImageImage

We went out twice since being back to school, this semesters school schedule is a bit more demanding. But the one day we did get out everything worked perfectly. We planned to sit it all day, but we were done by 10am.. We had a flock of geese feet down in our duck dekes, in a spot we rarely see geese fly over even. It was perfect! Ended with a 5 man limit of mallards an six geese.Image

Awesome pile and sweet picture. I'm down at school in WV. Last week was awesome. Piled up over 50 birds in 5 hunts. Couple solo hunts that I limited fast. This weather has screwed everything up. It is getting near the end and already looking for next year.

Gotta love the FRB  I see the guy second from the left all the time, but I haven't caught his name yet. He comes into work a lot, too. Sold him a floating gun case I believe.

Well the geese were a complete surprise, I was on the phone with the landowner and they came in, and I didn't hang up to blast them so we let em work. I hung up laid down and they worked in perfectly!

If I post on honey hole with my photo they always are like, "I thought you were a big black guy" lol.

Sweet pics, Tyler! I'm envious as always! We never could quite get on the ducks this year like we did last year. Went out today for my last attempt at PA ducks, ended up with 0. Never fired a shot at a duck. Did get my goose limit though! Oh we'll, there's always next year
