Traveling to Ohio

Postby PA_Drake_Hunter » Mon Jul 29, 2013 11:00 am

This will be the its year I buy an out of state license. I want to try and hunt Ohio for waterfowl and will start scouting areas this weekend and was wondering if anyone else is hunting out there this year and could maybe point me in the right directions to decent hunting. I'm not trying to take any spots just trying to be pointed to a decent area. Any help would be appreciated and if interested we could meet up and car poll out during te season. Looks like gas is going to be expensive and Savin any money would help. Thanks for the help.

I hunt out there some, if it is private land, you must have written permission on you. The closer you get to good hunting, the harder it is to get permission.

I'm not making a habit of driving to Ohio, there are plenty of birds to kill near home. I just want to shoot some teal during early season. Other than that, you can keep Ohio's hunting. I can't wait to see the pup in action. Best of luck, I couldn't imagine scouting Ohio. I can't even scout everywhere around here enough.

I agree son there's plenty of birds here but my buddy talked me into buying a license and if I'm up Pymatuning a lot which I will be it would be nice to hunt Sunday. I might as well get my money's worth if I'm buying the license

Right on about Sunday, especially if you're close to the border with Sundays to kill.
