BANDS

A great state with a number of waterfowl. This Pennsylvania duck hunting forum is a great place to discuss hunting practices from all over the state.

I've only ever shot two banded birds, both canada geese that were tagged locally.

Nice. I always hope they're out of state bands. Ohio, NY, but from Canada is the best. One of my buddies went to Ontario this year and got a banded goose. Sucker was from Pymie. Lol.

Don, I am the same way about out of state or country bands. Anything less and you feel cheated. My buddy shot a wood duck hen a couple years ago which was his first band. He was so pumped about it. He got home and reported it and it turned out it was banded 4 miles downstream from our location as a "bird too young to fly" just 3 months earlier. What a buzzkill. Lol
