Wow. I guess duck dynasty doesn't help with properly Id'ing waterfowl huh. Looks liked you bagged yourself a pied-billed grebe. Highly sought after species :thumbsup: . Way to go champ.

Im pretty sure That is a Chinese brown teal.

Those are thought to be extinct, you should rush that over to the nearest DNR station and show them.

#1..... if u dont know what duck is what dont hunt them. #2..... theres a DU app that has a duck ID feature. #3....have u ever heard of Google?. 4...... fill out the ID10-T Form and send it in to the PGC. so u can get ur certificate for this rare, highly sout after bird.

No... that is not a coot... smh at you. If you don't know your species of ducks take the time and learn them before you bother hunting. So sick of people hwo are just ignorant and out to blast away at anything that moves. I was out yesterday and there were clowns shooting 10 minutes before legal shooting time.... smh!!

Pied-billed, think there was 3 pictures of it from all different angles.
