The season has been excruciatingly slow so far, makes this double on a fine pair of gadwall extra sweet.

I'm glad somebody posted that, makes me feel a little better. I've probably seen 1/3 of the numbers that I saw last year.

Sorry, it's not a black, it's a gadwall. No purple speculum, just a hint of white , the bill is orange and black not green. her belly is white as well.

Not sure why you are being di#@ish but i'm usually pretty good at Id'n ducks. I've shot plenty of both. Guess the way to look out for one another is to try to make them look like an ass. Apparently your skills are far superior. I guess I should fall in line and lick your boots.....not hardly.....minktrapper...if i'm wrong i apolagize brother. hope you continue to have good luck.

Hen gaddies are about as good looking as they get. They'd make a nice pair flying off the wall.

I've had a decent season so far. Quick reflexes and shooting skills have saved the day a few times, but I've only been skunked 3 times since Sept. 1. Twice in Ohio and once here. I'm clicking closer to 30 geese and ducks and looking to break into 30 tonight.

I think I've shot more woodies these last few weeks than ever before and had shots on some flocks of little ducks that burned me.I've been not seeing the mallards I'm used to though. I hope the sandhills and teal I've been seeing this last week are a sign of a strong migration and winter to come. Watching Sandhills last week at 40-50 yards was pretty tough. I'd love to be able to take one.

70? I've only been out three times and was skunked once. I'm up to 7 total.

Sorry that was not accurate. 75! But I've also been out more than three times. But also average 4 per hunt . Shot 14 species so far.
