snow "storm" on saturday

Postby m3500 » Fri Dec 13, 2013 5:19 am

Anyone gonna hunting be out in the snow on Saturday? They say we could get 4-8 inches at most. Hoping it will make the birds move around. Fingers crossed...

I would love to get out I have noticd birds have been flying so much more since this weather pattern has hit. I would be out there but I will be graduating from college on saturday and then for the next three weeks I will be hitting the water hard.

Water may be a bit harder than you would like.
There are still things worth dying for and 1 of those things is freedom.

I love Geese

Genesis 27:3 Now then, get your weapons, quiver and bow, go out in the fields and hunt some wild game for me.

Two problems:
1. Ducks are out until Christmas eve.
2. Ice flow on the river.

Pretty sure my duck season is over. Maybe geese...
I don't have a catchy phrase to put here!

Down here in the south zone the season goes till jan.15... and I was out yesterday on the river and saw only a few birds and managed to harvest a black duck. The ice is starting to clog up, but its gonna warm up a little this week so who knows.

Had a tough day in the NW zone. Couple of black ducks flying in the snow but very slow action.
