So does anyone know why PA doesnt have an early teal season? Alot of our neighbor states do. I am just saying this because I watched numerous teal fly into my goose decoys this morning (both blue and greenwings). But it make think alot about it. What is everyone elses thoughts on this matter????
I don't know for sure why we don't have an early season for teal. I think it has to do with number of days we can hunt. Our duck season has to be a certain number of days . I don't remember how many days are in our season of the top of my head right now.
Those blue wings we saw this morning were right out back in the small weed bed this afternoon. They hung around for about 45 minutes until they swam downstream.
Hopefully they stick til October but I doubt it we got a better chance at those greenwings hanging around. I am going to contact Andy today and find out why we dont have a teal season.
