All right I'll bite. Other than the first week or so and the last week, the field goose hunting was outstanding over here in Tiverton/Little Compton. As soon as the weather got cold/snowy we had some tremendous hunts and limited out regularly. We're very fortunate to have a half-dozen of primo permissions on the river. We also picked up 6 banded geese on the year. We usually average about 1. We have not had any luck over in Central Mass. late season. The few permissions we have aren't holding any birds.

Central MA season has been tough so far, everything froze up early forcing most of the birds to the coast.

JRed told me he had some great shooting over there in the Tiverton/LC area. I didn't hunt there this year as I stayed on the Cape & SE Mass .

Thanks for posting and good luck in Mass.

Yeah, I was wondering why I never even received a response form you? Part of the problem or part of the solution? What does it take to stimulate a response on this what is seemingly foolish site?
