Swamper why so few visits?

The hawaii forum gets more hits than the ri forum. I know from opening day(s)hat RI has its share of hunters. Why no posts?

Hahahaha :lol3:

Lots of 'lurkers' from our little state! :hi:

Not sure, I know the weather was pretty disgusting. Honestly i didn't even get out after ducks. I've been deer hunting a ton so far.

Supposed to be cooler this week, but tons of rain it looks like.

hey everyone... new here, hoping to hear some positive news about mallard numbers around here... I did pretty well in early season with the resident ducks, quite a few mallards and blacks... So far this full season havent been seeing all that many mallard or black ducks, been shooting more sea ducks than anything... They dont taste as good, someone give me some kind of good news around here!!! shot a beautiful pair of Hooded mergansers yesterday morning a drake and a hen, wish i had the $$ to get the pair mounted

I don't know about everyone else hear but I've seen decent numbers of birds around. The problem is there's still too much water and they're not being cooperative. I've resorted to jump shooting with my dog this past week.
