RI Hunting License

Postby Policy Peddler » Tue Jan 14, 2014 9:44 pm

Going to RI this coming weekend to hunt Eiders, near Port Judith.
I have a few questions:

My 13 yr old son, can he hunt in RI?
Does he need a license, he has a hunter safety coarse and NY license.
what is needed for license and stamps?
Where can I get them either over night Friday night or on line?
suggestions on where to stay near Port Judith?

If there is anything else you think i should know, please feel free to tell me.
feel free to PM me if you prefer.

            Thank you

He (and you) need to have a hunter safety card to get a hunting license. There are lots of motels to stay in along rt1 1 in westerly. 20 min drive to the area you want to get to. No on-line licenses.
