Saturday Slam!

Postby duck2010hunter » Sun Nov 28, 2010 12:53 pm

One of the best days ever. A good mix of Gadwall, Mallards, Teal, Ringnecks, Shovelers, and a nice looking pintail. I killed 4 mallards and 2 ringnecks, then watched the group shoot the rest. Many high flyers that came down to us, including the mallards and Ringers. A couple of Gadwall were also seen. We even got a pintail that came in. Great weather too! Cant wait till the next hunt. I will get some pics up later.

where are their toes? did you have to flush them first? want to here a successful story about a public land hunt. My bro and I were at the boat landing on opening day at 8am with two limits of teal. Wednseday before thanksgiving hunted a wma and run out of shells by 8am. (poor shooting). 4 mallards 4 teal. Thanksgiveing killed 1 black, 3 mallards, and a teal. friday killed 4 ringnecks and a buffy, and saturday filled our limits of woodies.

Hey, I just got back from a hunt a couple of hours ago.

Toes???
Flush them???
Public land???

We have a club and we just shot some woodies, ringnecks, teal, and a ton of WILD Mallards. I think we had 20 mallards out of 6 or 7 guys. They dropped out of the sky into the decoys. Good morning for the mallards, but the ringnecks just were not there. Large groups of mallards coming from the lake. Next week I will show you the differnce between a WILD Mallard and a SCW Bird. This is SUCCESSFUL. Oh ya, also We killed a redhead and a Buffy today, with some large groups of divers, behind them.
