Basic info on southern south carolina.

Postby allnighter » Thu Jul 28, 2011 9:05 pm

I have been looking into a job that is in southern SC on the coast. Was wondering what the hunting was like in that area. When I say that I mean is there much public access. From what I have dug up it looks like its hard to get into public lands. Also where I'm from we can hunt the coast, can you do the same. Thanks for any insight I don't want anybody's spot because scouting is one of my favorite parts of duck hunting. I don't have anything solid on the job by any means just thought I would ask.

I am in the upstate but the coast has the better duck hunting in this state. There is plenty of public access and public hunting. Yes you can hunt the coast. Maybe one of the guys that live there can chime in and give you further insight.

What part of the coast? If it's any where near me (Myrtle beach) I'll help you.
