Has anyone every tried hunting out of a crow boat? I was going to get a kayak for this season, but I came across a crow boat.

Forgive my ignorance but what in the world is a "crow" boat?

Crow boat was made by a company in Lumberton NC across the road from Carolina boat works. (and others I am sure)

It is a plastic version of a Waccamaw strip boat. 8-10 foot long open cockpit, usually with a trolling motor.

Call them sneak boats in SC, but SC version which used to be made around Pelion had a different look to them.

Can not think of a reason why you would not be able to use a crow boat.

The guy that made the first SC sneak boats used to hunt near us in Sparkleberry and he just cruised around with the flow and trolling motor and jump shot a lot of ducks.

I personally would not try to shoot out of one, but then I do not like swimming in December.
