Sorry opening morning. Cloudy and ducks weren't flying. Had one group come in that's it.

2 ringers and one woodrow. I will post up a pic when My hunting partner emails them to me. We also had one pair of mallards work and 3 pairs of woodrows work but we couldn't get em to commit.
You know your hunting in South Carolina when a bunch of ducks fly in and you shot both of them!!

1 ringer, 1 gwt, 3 mallards, between two of us, would have been a pretty awesome hunt for one person but we had a good time anyway. Saw some super high birds, but they were not interested in coming to give us a look. The birds that came within range made the trip home with us. I won't be able to hunt again until wednesday, but hopefully we can get on some more birds then.

Good Luck to everybody this week.

Shot a limit of teal and a mallard. Saw lots of ducks, more mallards than I thought I would see this early in the year, they must have just been dock ducks.

only got to shoot once and killed a woodie. saw some mergs but you know how that goes. also had some jerks run about 30mph right through the middle of our deke spread which sent the 500 yards up river. funny thing is the dekes set themselves up fairly well and had woodies all in them. too bad they were 500 yards away.
When the red river flows, take the dirt road home
