Any Bets On This Cold Front

Bringing birds for this weekend? I'm headed out Saturday to try it in some flooded timber. Might hit the lake later.

Yea I'll have to agree on no birds this season.. Saw 3 woodies and a flock of geese this morning on big water, last year saw 5 times as many birds. This hot weather all winter really ruined the whole season. It sucks because duck hunting is my favorite hunting in which I hunt pretty hard (more than 2 times a week usually).

I ended up with 2 wood ducks. Not a bad morning. Woodies everywhere and quite a few geese left at daylight. I probably saw 50 ducks this morning. They always hang around this swamp and fly the river, which is right next to the swamp I hunted. All resident ducks so it wasn't like there was some major migration going on. I could have shot a whole lot more but not really what it's all about. I was waiting for a good passing shots, which these two gave me. I had a really fun morning. Put a couple other pics in the season pics thread.
