When is the best time to plant Millet, Corn, and Rice in South Carolina for duck ponds? Thanks.

Most farmers plant corn in May. I plant millet in august usually. Rice I don't really remember when to plant. The millet depends on the species. Jap millet is 30 to 45 days to mature. Browntop is 60 days to maturity I think. Corn is usually around 120 days to maturity. It is usually planted in may because that gives plenty of time to mature before frost and there is usually enough rain when it needs it but not always. This past year is a great example of that. Hope this is useful info.
You know your hunting in South Carolina when a bunch of ducks fly in and you shot both of them!!
